Contract has not started yet and I want to end it. can client leave a feedback?

Due to some personal reasons, I had to cancel a contract, but it has not started yet. Will the client be able to leave a feedback? Will it affect my jss?

If she accepted the project, then the client can still leave private feedback and affect her JSS, even if nothing was paid.

It would be best to let the client know as soon as possible so that they can choose somebody else; then close the contract yourself and hope that no feedback is given.

That is not what happened.

A freelancer can't cancel a contract that hasn't started.
