Contract is ended and client said that she paid already but I don't see it in my account baclance

Hi,

I did a small job for my client.

However, there it shows work is still in progress while contract is ended and client said that she paid already but I don't see it in my account balance not even under "In review" or "pending".

Familiarize yourself with Billing Cycle, to know where your money is in every step.

But thats for in progress.
Since job is already completed so, the amount should go under "available" not under "In Progress".
Am I missing something?

You are missing the Billing Cycle

The time was logged during the current work week. It will move to in review on Monday, then to pending next Saturday and available on the Wednesday after. (2 weeks today)

 

Whether the contract is open or closed is irrelevant.

Then how Can I verify if the payment is really made by the client?
Sorry if I am asking something very basic. I used to work when Upwork was Elance, after long gap I am a bit unfamiliar with all these new things.

You have to make sure you are meeting the requirements for the Upwork Payment Protection.

The client has not paid yet

The hour was logged this week, the client will be charged on Monday.

Yes, that's normal. Hours are billed weekly, so you have to wait a little.
