Contract on Hold, Work Already Submitted for Client Review

Hi,

 

Roughly two days after I had submitted work for client review, I received notification that the contract had been put on hold. I'm a bit concerned about what will happen, as the client has not yet reviewed the work. What should I do in this situation? Is it better to wait and let the client sort things out on their end, or should I reach out to someone for assistance? I tried looking for a clear answer to this, but it seems most of the time a contract gets placed on hold before the freelancer submits work or after the client has approved it.

Hi Alexandra,

 

I'm sorry to hear about your contract status. While we can't share any details, please ask your client to follow up on the notification they recently received and communicate with our team in order to resolve the issue with their account and resume your contract. Make sure to stop working on this contract and continue only after you can see that the contract has been resumed.
