Contract on hold

Hello, I recently started my hourly job with client on hourly basis, i almost worked for 2 Hrs last weak, which was Max limit of my weakly hours, i use upwork dekstop time tracker. Client hire me for further job, and limit is 4 hours per week, when I start the timer, i got notifcation from upwork, that your contract is on hold, i text my client 6 to 7 time but he is unresponsive from week, Please contact with him/her to resolve this issue. this job impacting me on my freelancing career which is more important for me. Please relove this issue.

That was a mistake on your part.

 

I send zero messages to the client in situations such as this.

 

The client ALREADY knows that the contract is on hold. Upwork informed him.

 

It MIGHT be okay to send a single message. More than one? You are just being annoying.

 

It is NOT NECESSARY to contact Upwork and ask them to resolve this. Contacting Upwork about this accomplishes nothing. They are already in contact with this client.

 

You can do nothing about the client's payment problems.

 

This is not your problem to fix.

 

For now, you should focus on other things, such as other work on Upwork.
