Contract put on hold - Suspended

Hi Upwork Support,

 

I started working on a contract, put in 30 hrs of work time, only to get notification that contract was put on hold until you check with client what is happening. Prior to this I had regular communication with the client, but since it got suspended no word from him.

 

I followed Terms of Hourly Protection Program to make sure to avoin any possible scams, client did have verified payment method badge on his profile, an nothing was suspicious about him. 

 

When can I expect someone to inform me what is happening, will I get the payment and when?

Nobody will let you know what is happening, chances are your client didn't pay something or needs to fix something with Upwork. It is between the client and Upwork.

 

As long as you tracked your time strictly according to the terms (all tarcked, meaningful work memos that clearly describe what you are working on and high activity levels) you should be protected.
