Contract shows as completed

My client change my hourly rate and now our existing contract shows under the Completed Jobs. Does it mean a new contract will be created and I'll be charged again for a 20% Upwork fee? I asked my client and on their end, our contract shows In progress.

They must have closed the contract to set up the new terms. Don't worry about the fee, you are always charged 20% until you hit $500 with that client, regardless of the number of contracts you have with them. Number of contracts does not impact the fee, but the dollar amount with the client over all contracts does.
