Contract started without talking to the employer or negotiating at all

I got an offer out of the blue, and thought I was messaging the person to talk to them and negotiate price  when I replied. (Looked kind of interesting but hourly rate low)

However  when I tried to reply - it became an immediate contract that started. Yikes a doodle!!  Can I still negotiate hours, or money with the person, whom I haven't met as of yet- as I have no idea what the job really is,  or if it will be a fit, and can't exit  the contract now, cuz it will lower my JSS:(  Not sure what to do? Thanks.

Hi Karen,

I checked your account, and it looks like you have already accepted the offer that was sent to you. The only way to have an active contract is when you accept an offer. Since there is already an active contract, please reach out to your client to discuss the project further, including your hourly rate. In the future, it is best to make sure that before you accept an offer, you have all the details needed to start working and of course negotiated the price with your client.

Thanks. Yes- I thought I was messaging them but it created an active offer.
