Credit cards do not expire at the beginning of a month. They expire at the end of a month
Almost invariably, if this happens on a Friday morning UTC, it means the client's payment method repeatedly declined for last week's billed hours on and since Monday.
It will resolve itself as soon as the client pays what they owe.
