Cost of connects to Freelancers on the basic membership plan

Can someone help me understand the purchasing of connects.

The basic plan reports that connects cost $0.15 each. As shown in the list of offerings with the basic membership plan.

When I purchase connects it says “your account will be charged $1.50”. As shown on the “Buy connects” page “Your account will be charged $1.50”.

Yet each time I purchase connects, I get charged in the $85-$90 range.

Why is it not a $1.50 for 10 connects?

Why is it not the same amount every time if the cost of a Connect is clearly defined to be 15cents?

I'm not crazy to think this is wrong... if I'm reading my transaction history correctly?

10 connects is $1.50 plus VAT. Open a ticket, something is seriously wrong if you're getting charge $90 for 10 connects.

How you pay for the connects? Credit card?

The transaction history page shows both the connects amount and the balance amount in your account.

It shows like this :

Membership Fee Fees for additional Connects (number of connects bought) : ($price for the connects bought) / $balance amount in your account

The amount in parentheses is the amount they are charging for the connect and the amount below it is the balance amount in your account (if you have any).

Are you sure they are charing $90 per 10 connects?

Make sure you're looking at the right amount. The transaction history shows two amounts - the charge in parens and your account balance underneath that. So, you should see ($1.50) with your account balance under that.

That info makes a BIG difference!

Now I see that I am being charged $1.50 and the $85-$90 is the balance is going down.
