Couldn't complete work on time

I couldn't complete a task on time. The client also asked for a refund.

 

When I went to give him a refund, the system told me there were no transactions to give a refund. Is the poor guy's money stuck in Escrow because of me? If so, how can I help to refund him?

 

Also, will the job show in my work history? I've worked hard to maintain a 5 star rating and it'll be sad to see it go like this.

Hi Hamza,

 

Your client has already closed the contract and requested the return of funds from Escrow. If you go to your My Jobs page, you'll see the pending refund request at the bottom. Once you approve it the money from Escrow will be refunded to the client.

 No it won't, but it will likely hit your Job Success Score.

Hi Hamza,

 

I can confirm that contracts without any payment aren't displayed publicly but can affect your Job Success Score, depending on the private feedback your client left and the outcome of the other contracts you've had.
