Coursera certification

Hey guys,

I looked through some question and answer about Coursera certifications and how to add it. I didn't completely understand if I can add it or not, the answers are mostly included that you need a valid certification. What does it mean exactly about Coursera? I mean Coursera certifications are valid for sure. So how can I add them to my profile?

Hi Taraneh,

We understand that adding certifications to your profile is a great way to show clients what you can do and find well-matched opportunities. There are two ways how you can add your credentials.

If you have a Credly account, you can now add your certifications from that account to Upwork with the Credly import feature. We’ll note that those certifications were verified by Credly on your profile.

However, if you have certifications not issued by Credly or don’t have a Credly account, you can still add your certifications through the manual option. We suggest you check this help article for more information and detailed instructions on adding your certifications.

The problem is that Upwork just lets you put in two manual certificates, not more.

Hi Taraneh,

Yes, at the moment you can only add up to 2 manual certificates. If you have certificates in Credly, you can definitely add more.
