Currency convert fra $ to Euro when getting paid

Hi

When I get paid, Upwork convert the payment to euro before sending it. Why? We do not use Euro here. That means I lose twice, first from dollar to euro, then from euro to my currency. 

I would like the payment to be in dollar, just the same as I get paid. Then let my local bank do the convertion.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked and it looks like you are using the Direct to Local bank option to withdraw your funds. Please know that the currency conversion will be performed by Upwork's banking partner at the time the funds are sent to you. While it's not possible to show the real-time conversion rate, you can check the last exchange rate used by Upwork's banking partner on the manual withdrawal form.
