Customised bill

If a client has set up an hourly rate in the job request. But we have agreed to work on 500$ flat fees. How can I charge him that much amount? Do I have to create customized bill?

Have you already accepted an offer? If not, the client can change the project type to fixed rate before they send it. If they've already sent an offer, they'll need to cancel it and send another. If you've already accepted an offer, they can pay with a bonus payment.

That would be a super bad idea because if the client doesn't pay and no hours were logged, she'll get paid $0.

If she has already accepted the contract, she should CLOSE it and have the client set up a properly funded fixed rate contract instead.
