Hi,

I have been working as a freelancer with a client for the last 40 days and i have earned $1k plus but still Upwork is charging me 10%.
I want to know at what point Upwork will start charging me 5%?

10% is correct.

After you have earned $9000 more (a total of $10,000) working for this client, your fee percent will go down to 5%.

From $10.000 with a single client, for that client only.

The comission will drop to 5% once you have made more than 10k with a client.

And the 5% rate will only apply to clients who you've made more than 10k with.
