Deposited Milestone is missing.

Hi,

I'm new to Upwork.

I posted a fixed-price project and was able to select a freelancer to do it.

I deposited the complete milestone for it  However, after a few days, the freelancer sort of stopped working. I can't message her anymore. 

My Balance and Fixed Price Deposits show $0.00. I'm wondering where my money is.

How will I get my money back?

It looks like you cancelled the job, is that correct?

My understanding is that a refund can take up to 5 days before going back to your account.

No, I didn't cancel the job.  I think it was cancelled by the one I selected.

But it's good news that I'll get my money back in 5 business days.

Your money has already been refunded and is on its way back to your payment method. This can take up to 5 business days.

Thanks Petra, that's a relief.

I thought I was the one who cancelled the work.

It's also nice to know that it's already on its way back to may payment method in 5 business days.
