Desktop app not registering keyboard strokes - showing 0 keyboard activity

OS - Win 10

Desktop app version - 5.5.0.1

Earlier the desktop app captured keyboard activity without any problem but after this update, the app is not picking up any keyboard activity. My activity is shown as 9/10 minutes but keyboard activity is 0 for the whole time range. As I am a developer this can cause some problems. Please advise me on how to fix this.
