Hi everyone,
I am not sure if I am doing this right, so I would like your opinion on this.
Twice it happened to me that after a proposal, I got to meet the prospective client on a video call. I explain in general terms what my proposed solution would be and promise a document with the proposal in more detail.
I send a proposal explaining how I would bring a solution, with diagrams, a schedule, etc.
After that, I'm being ignored for weeks and eventually told they decided not to go ahead with the project or a similar answer.
Should I have done differently? Is that response to be expected? It requires fair effort to write a proposal document, so I am thinking if maybe it's better to explain everything I can in the video call and then wait for their hiring me, before going into details.
Cheers,
Leandro.
