Did Upwork change something?

Is Upwork implementing new features this month? I have been getting flooded with requests (direct ones where clients are "reaching out to discuss" their projects) as well as invites. 

Where can we go to get news about what Upwork is implementing or trying currently?

Search results are no longer static and we may rotate profiles in the search results to allow more freelancers a chance to be discovered.
