It is bad, they are one of my top clients, this makes me look bad and could have been a problem for them too. I usually respond immediately, so they were wondering if something had happened to me.
Another client contacted me today because the files I had submitted a few days ago were missing. Something seems to be going on with the messaging system.
What I learned from this issue is to improve my communication with my clients. Now every time a client writes to me, I'll reply with a confirmation that I received it. I'll let them know that if I don't reply in a few hours, I haven't received it, so they can try to email me.
