Direct Contract Dispute Risk. Client requesting additional work for free

Being an experienced digital service provider, I record all the conversation happening on the project discussions and scope of work.

We've clearly disinguished the scope of work needed for a project on a handful of meetings that are recorded.

As for now, client is requesting additional work and doesn't seem to be willing to pay for the completed job before we do stuff for free. I find it unacceptable, and will be requesting payment as soon as I have the deliverables ready.

This is obviously a situation for dispute.

What kind of materials and proof are needed from my end to prove my point?

How likely I am to get paid for the job I've completed with direct contract?
