Direct message notification didn't come through. What to do next?

Hello, all!

I rely on the app to inform me of invitations and messages and it's been mostly good for the past year. No notification came for a direct message I received about 36 hours ago and I didn't answer it until now. The last notification I did was receive was for an invitation (not having to do with my services) the day prior.

I know that not answering invitations w/in 24 hours affects response stats, but what about direct messages from a new contact?

If it will affect my stats then I'm debating whether or not to reach out to support.
