Hello,
I have a client that I would like to offer a discounted rate for a specific type of work. We already have an hourly contract for a higher rate. Is there an easy way to do this in the existing contract, or would I need to setup another contract for that time?

In that case you have two options:
Option 1 would be more sensible.

Hi Christy,
You can decrease your hourly rate from the contract that you already have, there is no need to set up a new contract.

Hello Christy,
How are you? well it is easy to make changes in your current hourly job but only decreasing. you should follow these steps:
1. Click on my job
2. Then select all contracts
3. Then choose the specific contract which you want to make changes
4. At the lower portion you will se Decrease rate with your hourly rate.
So you can make changes there easily. Hopefully you understand.
Best Regards,
