Dispute on Active Contracts

I wrote and submitted articles on the deadline day. However, the client has refused payment saying that the articles were delivered at night. How can I file a dispute on an active contract?

Hi Popoola,

Before deciding to dispute, it is always best to try resolving the issue amicably. You can explain to your client what caused the delay or offer alternative solutions. For more information about disputes please check out this help article. Thank you.

I've tried repeatedly to settle the issue with this client amicably to no
avail. Now he's no longer responding to messages and he's in possession of
the articles. I read the help article you referenced but it wasn't helpful
as I was still unable to file a dispute. Can anyone help, please?

Did you use the "Submit work for payment" function on the contract to submit the work?

If so, unless the client clicked on "request changes" you get paid after 14 days automatically.

Your clients will be confused about your recent move as well I expect...

No, I didn't. I'll do that now. Thank you.
