I am a language trainer. 2 weeks ago I started to teach an Indian guy for PTE exam. I told him that he can't reach very high score upcoming months because he has to work on certain aspects of language. He disputed the manual hours I had entered, blaming me for discouraging him and mentioning the quality of work as the reason for dispute. I have never tracked teaching hours because it is different from article writing or research. So I could only submit screenshots from skype call history. Is there any chance I can win the despute?

No, there is not. None, at all. Manual time = client wins by default.
If you want protection, always track your time with the Upwork app. Manual time is never protected and you were warned of that when you added manual time to our work diary.
