Disputed Issue with a Client

I came accross a Client on upwork and client ask me this is just a test if you pass or fail I will pay you and give you a feedback So I told her that okay i will start I started the work and in 24 hours I give her the work so she said you did'nt use the timer i said i will do that again so she said no we will pay you but we are checking

So i said okay i will see what else i can do 

today she again message me that your order is going to get cancelled i mean if you don't pay me why creating a drama can some one help me?

Were you actually hired? With a proper Upwork contract?

Yes I accepted the contract and I give my work she cancelled the project she told me I will pay we will pay and test I mentioned on the contract it is a test and cancelled it.
