BTW, Kevin, your profile says you are in Oslo, but the current time is off by several hours....

Thanks for your reply.

I know time already.

I don't mean exact time.

Maybe tomorrow, i can know about whole problems.

Kevin:

If the work you did was on an hourly contract, and you used the time tracker, and the time tracker screenshots show you working on the client's project, and you annotated your work diary with good notes, and the client's billing method was verified, you're most likely covered by the Upwork hourly protection scheme. This means Upwork will pay you even if the client's payment method subsequently fails. You can see more info about it at this link.

I'll add my voice to the others: do NOT allow this client to try to pay you off-site. Even if you don't end up getting scammed, that's a serious ToS violation and you could be suspended from Upwork yourself. Also, do NOT do any more work for this client until this is sorted out.

Hi Kevin,

Please, refer to the message our Dispute specialist sent to you earlier today. It looks like some hours you logged weren't covered by Upwork Hourly Protection and were reversed when client's payment method failed. Your client has also been notified and once they fix the issue with their payment method, they can pay you a bonus.
