When I worked through Elance, I had some wonderful clients who were sincere about the work requested and who were willing to pay a fair wage to experienced, knowledgeable freelancers. That does not seem to be the case on Upwork, with jobs being offered at ridiculously low fees. I wonder how many Upwork freelancers also worked through Elance previously and whether anyone knows where all these good Elance clients have gone.
