I hope clients aren't paying for this service. For me, it seems like the Upwork Talent Specialists and/or the system doesn't read my profile. The only service I offer are voice overs, and it says in my profile I don't do anything related to AI or on-camera work, but my last few Upwork Talent Specialist invitations this week have been:
- Gaming experts required from USA for a Focus Group Test for insights regarding RPG/GATCHA games
- English Video/audio AI project for Enterprise client
- Medical doctor/patient conversations - Native English (US) (Training AI)
I canceled my Freelancer Plus subscription this month and still had a lot of unused connects from the previous month, so I thought I'd try allotting more per click to boost my profile. It's not looking like a viable option, either.
Also, the last Upwork Talent Specialist told me "If you have any questions, contact the client directly through Upwork Messages." Have we ever been able to do that without there being an interview initiated?
Has anyone been experiencing the same thing in regards to the Upwork Talent Specialist selection process?
