Keval, if you were hoping for a practical answer from someone, here is one.

Yes, it helps.

Every now and then those Talent Specialists match me with a very good client.

Also, because the badge is a sort of verification of the freelancing skills (how good you are with clients who consistently give 5-star reviews) I get loads of direct invitations too.

Basically, if your niche is right, you can reduce the number of proposals you send. That is probably the biggest practical benefit. More efficiency in getting projects started.

I opted out of Talent Specialist invitations a long time ago. But perhaps it's time to give them another try. Could a moderator please tell me if there's a way to opt back in, please?

My name is Ben and I received the top-rated bagde about two weeks ago but I have not receievd a single response from all the proposals I have sent to far. But the case was different when I was not having the top rated badge. Is there something I need to do ? Please help!

Richard, I was about to do that at some point as many of the invitations by the Talent Specialists didn't differ much from the standard spam level invitations. Well, almost. 😀

But recently I've gotten very good experiences. One being my highest-paying consultancy gig for an Enterprise Client.

Try opt-in for a while and see if it works for you!

I think they hired some better Talent Specialist a few months ago. I still get some invites from them that do not match my profile but some also linked me with some Enterprise Clients. So I guess one you have made it that far things get better.
