I received an invitation for a job and the client's original message is

**Edited for Community Guidelines**

I am confused as to whether this is faux or real job invitation. 

Client's profile has a name ' **Edited for Community Guidelines**' and the membership of this client started on 19th june, 2016, the very day this job is posted on upwork.

please help.

It's legit. **Edited for Community Guidelines** is hired by Upwork to help clients find freelancers.

Help is italicized because sometimes the offers are way off.

I can confirm this is a legitimate job invitation, sent by our agent who is assist this client with their job post.

I received the same invitation, although the company she was suggesting was a scam company.

Are you referring to the message you received from a client earlier today? I checked and it doesn't look like it was an invite sent by an Upwork agent. We'll have the job reviewed and actions taken as soon as possible.

Yes! I went through a lengthy "interview" process only to find out it was a scam. I flagged the job, but I certainly appreciate you taking further action. Thank you!
