Employer not pay me after job is done.

Hi friends.

I am new member as a freelancer here. I did not how be sure get the money after job done.

Yesterday, I got a project and anydesk(remotely work) required. I did but after job done he close that session and offline then.

So, How to report this guy?

Khang, what is more important than reporting this client is for you to figure out how to use Upwork properly. You need to figure out what Khang did wrong.

Your mistakes are the reason you did not get paid. When we use Upwork properly, we get paid automatically.

Do you understand what you did wrong yet? Or do you need to talk to us some more to help you figure that out?

re: "I did but after job done he close that session"

That is normal. There is nothing wrong with that. It doesn't matter.

re: "and offline then."

How do you know you did not get paid? (Maybe you got paid but you are so new, you did not realize you were paid.)

When you go to your Upwork Contracts page, do you actually see this contract listed? Maybe you never even had a contract with this client, in which case it would be impossible to get paid.

Hi Khang,

I`m sorry to hear about the bad experience you had, our team will reach out to you via ticket and assist you further with this.
In order to be eligible for ourUpwork Payment Protection you will need to be hired on a official contract and fulfill the criteriums required. Upwork Payment Protection consists of two sub-programs: Protection for hourly contracts and fixed price contracts. I would also recommend to check out the Safety First section on this Thread, thank you.
