Ending a Contract

Hi guys,

Hope you're all having a good week.

I completed a job 2 weeks ago where the client was happy. They specifically wrote everything was perfect which was great. It was a fixed price contract and the milestone was paid.

I asked them to kindly end the contract on their end and leave an honest review if they can as it will help my profile. They never replied to my first message and 2 weeks later (today) i messaged them again and they said "You can end the contract on your end."

I've read it's best not to end the contract on my end as it can affect my JSS, so I wanted to get advice on the next steps to take. I just received 100% JSS a few weeks ago and I don't want that to be affected.

This will be the first job I've ended myself.

Thanks in advance!

No, it does not affect your JSS.

Just close it. Generally, when a client flat out refuses to end the contract, they do not want to leave feedback. Best to stop asking....

Thanks Petra,

That's exactly what I thought. I've already asked twice, and I don't want to keep bothering them.
