Let's talk about the prevalence of freelancer-posted jobs on the platform and how it impacts newcomers. It seems like many job postings are from freelancers themselves, prioritizing top-ranked freelancers and leaving newbies struggling to find opportunities. This raises concerns about fairness, wasted connects, and navigating the platform effectively. How can we address these challenges and ensure equal opportunities for all freelancers? Share your thoughts and let's brainstorm solutions together!

- Reducing connects amount
- adding skill matching options like indication in green (you are matching this skill with this client requirements like that so easy for matching project criteria) when applying by freelancer. Like currently how 80%, 90% is indicate so everyone put affords on skill improvement rather than focusing only on % increase
- prioritising Top rated is good but also support and nourish newbies too because that might possible they will be future top rated and improve revenue for companies so new commers require support to like helping them to give small job suggestions so they once they independent and emprove with money they will spend money on connects no issue at all because they admire how this platform help them in initial stage so they remember this. And other side current top rated easily think to switch platform or open their own agency because they have lots of past work experience and they can stand uniquely in market too so might possible their some % revenue from this platform and majority revenue from their own agency. ( so there should be a benefit plan too for top rated)
- Upwork have to focus for long term growth instead of quick connects increase this might effect lots of mind to rethink to apply on job and actual talent will never reach to client and freelancer might possible to think options of other marketplaces or if they are top rated they will build competitive marketplace
- Upwork is one of the top marketplaces is not know due to current changes, platform impression in market due to many years to business development and sustainability. Current changes results might possible to see in next few years so they have to analyse how human behaviour are change according to parameters change.
there are several way to make revenue as a profit...like one can sell ready made digital products, templates, modules so on and per sale Upwork can take 30% like digital products selling marketplace.
and there are many other options too which give equal rights to all freelancers by proper balancing all parameters.
Remember experience person or top rated one time fresher or new comer on this platform same like new plants are same important like already grown tree, it never meant you have already grown tree and will not require new plants) Think about it!
