Enterprise job notifications

I have a small issue related to Upwork Enterprise group notifications that can be very frequent for someone who cares what notifications s/he needs. I know that the frequence of these notifications can be changed in settings or turned of. But, I might be interested in new job opportunities, however the job opportunities within the Enterprise groups I was added to are vastly irrelevant. For example - there is huge amount of notification in a group called U....lever Graphic Design Talent Cloud. But the majority of these job postings within this group that has nothing to do with graphic design. It is similiar with the other big groups. It seem to me bit spammy and messy to me. But I do not know who is responsible for chaneling these job postings.

I agree with this. It would be wonderful if I could only get enterprise jobs via e-mail that matches my skillsets and not every single job they post regardless of what they are looking for.

Hi Stefan,

As a bit of a background, freelancers can get added to a Private Talent Cloud if they are hired by an Enterprise client, which is what happened in your case. Since Talent Cloud networks are set up by Enterprise clients and operate as a private group, jobs posted there might not match your particular skill set, which is the experience you're having based on your post.

If that's the case, you can use the option to filter or turn off notifications for each Talent Cloud you're a part of by going to Settings > Notifications and selecting a preferred option as shown in the screenshot below.

Let me know if you need further assistance and thank you for sharing your feedback

Thank you for your suggestion Vladimir,

If you read my post carefully, you´d see that I mentioned these options in my post. What I am criticising here are the apparently poorly regulated and unefficiently targeted job posts within enterprise groups. The problem and solutions is not on freelancer´s side but the Upwork Enterprise group. In my case lot´s of these jobs are generated, mixed up within group that does not match its name/purpose. I have no option to filter off irrelevant job posts within a group. I can turn it on or off as notifications for a group as you suggest.

I do not know how the system works, what are the tools for Enterprise groups but there is room for improvements for sure.

I'm sorry if I misunderstood your post Stefan. I believe the core issue here is the confusion about how Private Talent Clouds operate, which I've touched upon in my previous message.

These are set up by Enterprise clients, creating their own private network of freelancers they've hired and worked with before, which they can engage in the future and consider them for their new jobs, since freelancers there already have experience working with their company. The Talent Cloud is not skill specific but rather set up to manage a specific project, a portion or majority of jobs an Enterprise client is hiring for and looking to complete on Upwork. That's why some of the jobs posted there might not match your skill set but since you're part of their Talent Cloud, you'll receive a notification for it if that option is enabled.

As you mentioned, there's no option to filter jobs posted in each Talent Cloud at the moment and I'll share this suggestion with our team. Thank you for providing your feedback.
