Entry level(beginner) Artist Freelancer

I am an 18 year old striving artist that wants to challenge myself with clients and work. I have a few items in my portfolio that includes logo redesigns, photography, and digital art. I know that I might be biting more than I can chew by applying, but is Upwork a good platform for me to improve my skills while serving clients with the best that I can do?

Sure. Experience is always a great way to improve your skills.

Just make sure your profile and portfolio are strong and you should be able to get clients.

I find that hard work, dedication, and a positive attitutude will get you far on this platform. Best of luck.

As a  beginner artist you could use Upwork to build a portfolio dedicated to a very specific service that you will be able to deliver with certainty. I advice trying out the crazy stuff outside Upwork until you have it figured out perfectly.  And don't put all your eggs in one basket.
