A lot of people seem to be experiencing this issue right now. Be patient as I am sure the team over at Upwork is fully aware of the issue.

I tried to clean cache and cookie files (Chrome). I tried Firefox browser. I tried incognito modes in both browsers. I received the same error message each time.
