Yes, already tried this several times, but error keeps popping up.

 

What else could cause this problem?

Jeroen, could you please try again? It should be working now. Once you access your account, please go to Find Work> Profile and complete your profile if you'd like to use Upwork as a freelancer. If you want to use Upwork as a client, please go to your Settings and create a new Company.

 

Let me know if you run into further issues.
