I've had a warning from Upwork about taking work outside the platform because a client sent me an email address. I've been editing some work for this client and he has asked me to contact the original author via email just to let her know what edits I've made (she is aware and ok with it, hence the email address). All work has been carried out according to Upworks T&Cs and I have no intention of taking any work o/s this platform. Is that ok? If not, I won't contact the author. Any advice gratefully received, thanks.
