Fake Jobs - Client wants to get visitor to their website

Hello Upwork Community, Please don't waste your connects on jobs like this **Please check the screenshot below**. The client has posted 2 similar projects and she hired none. She is giving reference to another website and looks like she wants to get a visitor by this cheap method, which many (but not everyone ) clients do from Pak*** and In*** ,  Sorry to say but I am also from Pak**. Now almost 50 freelancers have lost their connects and I am sure none of them will be hired because she was here to get some visitors by posting the fake projects. I am sorry if it hurts someone but that is the truth. I wish you a good day.

Hello Nikola, Thanks for following up. That really hurts me and other freelancers as well. I am sure there are plenty of other jobs as well. Upwork should verify their payments before posting a job so we can be comfortable before sending connects.

Then simply flag the job post (although with no proof or even a shred of evidence even that is a waste of time.) and move on.

No. Upwork should not do things that make potential clients go elsewhere. That hurts all freelancers.

If you don't want to bid on job posts from clients who have not verified their payment method yet, simply don't. You can even filter them out.
