Fake client with verified profile

Hello 

So there are some clients that are fake, but have verified payment method.

They have 0$spent on upwork but they have several job posts. Like alot. All of them have one thing and that is they added their telegram accounts, and whatsapp number. 
i flagged them multiple times. 
let me tell you what happens when you contact them using a number. They ask you to donate them 40$-150$ as a safekeep for doing their pdf conversion whose payment will be 3000-4500$

Which is absurd for a file conversion. So its easily a scam.

I hope upwork can remove these clients.

It is a well known scam.
Upwork is aware of it and many others, it is removing them, but it is slow.

That the payment is verified will not save you from a scam. Scammers have learned that verifying it helps them appear "legitimate".
