You are taking money for connects then please make sure that the project owner hires , If not then please return our connects. I am seeing that most of the jobs are getting archived no one is hired basically most jobs are fake. This is not good!

Soumya, I would contest your observation that "most jobs are fake".

If that was really true, I think Upwork would have died off years ago. 😉

There are some fake jobs. Some are complete scams.

But for sure, MOST projects are decent.

One way to avoid negative impact of this phenomenon is to avoid applying to small low-paying jobs coming from particularly those clients whose hire rate is low. Also, you can avoid those who send out dozens of invitations.

Speaking of which, I recently saw a client with a 4% hire rate somewhere. No go. 😆
