Feature Request: Make Bonuses Visible

When a client uses the "Pay a Bonus" button, I want to be able to thank them.  I don't think that's asking too much.

But unlike every other action a client can take on a project, bonuses don't show up on the Messages page.

Even if you go to the "Time & Earnings" page, and look at "All timesheets and earnings" (note the word "ALL"), bonuses don't show up there either.

And yes, I know, if I wait a week, my hours will turn into an invoice, and then I can open the invoice and the bonus will show up there... if I even think to look for it.

But in the meantime, my client has been generous.  And days have gone by, and I haven't acknowledged their generosity.  And they think I'm rude and ungrateful.  (That doesn't exactly inspire good feedback, or a willingness to work together again.)

I love the fact that the "Pay a Bonus" button is there.  But can you please, PLEASE, integrate it with the rest of the platform?

Hi Steve,

Currently, a notification about a bonus appears in the notification section. The bell icon at the top will also indicate that there is a new notification. The standard security period applies to bonuses but even while they're pending, they'll appear in the Reports Overview right away.

While I'm not aware of immediate plans to show information about payments in the Message room (generally that area is for messages and contract terms updates,) I'll share your suggestion with the team. Thank you.

The problem, is that when you receive a bonus, Upwork doesn't exactly go out of its way to tell you about it.  You have to know that it's coming (and sometimes you don't), so you can actively go looking for it.

I read my emails...

I can also look at my notifications

Furthermore, I can look at my Reports > Pending page...

You also get an email notification that you received a bonus. It's that enough?

You get a special email message every single time.
