Featured jobs required connects to apply?

It was free to apply some time ago. Maybe i missed some changes. Pls point me to this info.

I honestly can't remember when Featured Jobs did not require Connects to apply. If this used to be the case, I missed it too.

According to Upwork, you don't use connects to apply for jobs:

• When a client invites you to bid.
• When a client sends you an offer.
• When a client purchases your Project Catalog project.
• When you send a proposal within an Enterprise Talent Cloud.

Outside of these, it appears that freelancers must always use Connects to apply to any job.

Client paid for Featured to collect much workers as possible. So anyone was free to apply. It was useful.
