I ended the contract with the client (because he did not, we just closed out via email) and provided FB for him. He did not provide FB for me, so I recently asked him to do so - he said he cannot figure out how to do it. It is past the 14 day window, but what instructions should I give him so that he can provide visible FB for me. Right now, the job shows as "no feedback given". Tx!

The only way for either party to enter feedback after the 14-day window has closed is for UW to intervene. I don't know how likely that is but you can ask.

Hi Devon,
You could enable the client to change their feedback for you. That said, please keep in mind this only allows for them to give you public feedback. Private feedback cannot be given once the feedback period is over.

Devon, he did not leave private feedback, because he could not have done so without leaving public feedback at the time. That's the way the system is set up, they have to give stars first before private feedback is given. You are confusing feedback the client personally gave to you with "private feedback", which is a specific rating the client gives you to Upwork, that you will never see or know.

Anyway - doing what you suggested - allowing client to change FB - once I
click on that, what will he see or get? A prompt? A link? Tx 🙂
He can go to the closed contract and then the feedback tab - He'll be able to see the link there once you have enabled him to change the feedback.
