Feedback from client

Hello,

I have successfully submitted my work, got paid and client became a lot satisfied on upwork messenger but he didn't give feedback. Although I have given feedback as 5 stars. You know for newbie like me how the feedback is important. please guide, should I approach him and request for feedback?

If the client closed the contract, then HE DID LEAVE FEEDBACK.

There is no way for a client to close a contract without leaving feedback.

The feedback may take a day or two to show up on your profile.

Or (if it doesn't show up immediately and you really want to see it there), you can do a small, inconsequential edit to your profile page and that should force your page to be refreshed and display the feedback.
