File downloading

“The file you’re trying to download is password protected, and could not be scanned”
I can not open attached file. Please advice me, what to do with this issue. I know password of the file.

Upwork is not a file transfer tool.

 

If a client and freelancer are exchanging files which have password protection, then Upwork's Messages tool and other available methods of providing files MAY NOT WORK.

 

Upwork's file transfer process intentionally blocks the transmission of some sorts of files, and does indeed damage other types of files en route, including files with password protections.

 

Upwork is not going to change its system for you. You don't need Upwork's help. You simply need to use another method for file transfer, such as:

email

Dropbox

FTP

USB flash drive

Google Drive

Microsoft One Drive

WeTransfer

Skype

[etc.]
