Financial Transactions Limited

Hi, I know this is not a new issue on Upwork. But for someone like me who has just started working on Upwork a few months back, its a big deal. I have been made the "rising talent" a few days back and the very next day I received a mail that my financial transactions have been limited due to a certain transaction in my client's account. They had asked me to provide certain information to which I had promptly replied. I had contacted the client also. But, the ticket has been closed without the resolution of the issue and my transactions are still on hold. Whenever I am trying to live chat, I only get a reply "our risk management team is reviewing the issue". I am not getting any reliable answer. I have several jobs pending. Though I am completing them, this tension is not leaving my mind and I am unable to focus. This may affect my credibility on Upwork. Please let me know how more will it take to solve this issue. Thanks.

I'm sorry about the frustration the suspension of your account is causing you. I'll follow up with the team that is handling your issue and they will update you as soon as they can. We are not able to share any details about your suspension here on the forums however.

But Upwork is not sharing details either on the ticket or on the live chat. My ticket has been closed without any solution and when I opened another, it was closed as duplicate. Please let me know minimum how much time does it take to resolve this issue and what is happening with my account right now.

 

 

 

I have been asked yesterday to complete the ID verification process. I have completed it today. I hope this will be sorted out soon now. 

My ID has been verified but following message still appears:
"Financial transactions for Neetika Agarwal (8355884) have been limited. Please check your email for additional information or contact customer support."

What needs to be done now??

I am happy to hear your account is reinstated. It looks like there are some unresolved issues with your client's account though and that's why those contracts are on hold. I followed up with the team about that.

Hi,

 

I have sent my Id Verificaitoin documents.

 

I got email from Upwork saying that ID is verified.

 

But still my account is showing "Financial Tranactions Limited"

 

Why is that.

 

My ID is approved/verified but still my account is banned from making transactions.

 

I just finished a contract with a client and he will hire me again in few days for new project, but I am hesitent to work on Upwork further becuase I will not be able to withdraw funds.

What Is Problem In My Financial transactions. Because my account shown as "Financial transactions for Rahul Jain (9645658) have been limited. " what is the meaning of this line or error. I have currently work on project since 23 oct 2015. please see my screenshot on upwork panel and if you have any doubt on words so please talk with client. please resolve my account issue because my payment was pending. Sir If you have any required document for verification. please tell me. but immediately solve my problem.

Hi Rahul,

 

You have to resolve issues on every one of your account before one of them can be resumed. Make sure you don't create any more duplicate accounts as it's a serious violation of Upwork Policies that will lead to a suspension. Please refer to Kat's response on your ticket for more information.

Please, refer to the reply from our team you received through the ticket on Tuesday for more information why documents you submitted for ID verification were not accepted. You will need to submit different documents for the verification. Reply to that ticket if you have any further questions.

I also am having an issue with a suspension on transactions on my account. i provided all the information required but no reply from the Risk Compliance team for 2 days already.

 

I also called directly California yesterday (Oct 1) and they promised me that they would resolve it and so far no response on my reply.

 

My account was initially created on Elance and i had to move it to Upwork to start working with a new freelancer.

 

The timeline for responding to responses is very slow. I hope someone can assist me to get my account unblocked.
