Financial transactions have been limited

Hi, Upwork Team.

 

I am experiencing the error: "Financial transactions for Luccas Beck Reis (223XXXXX) have been limited. Please check your email for additional information or contact customer support.".

 

I am unable to submit an individual help ticket to request assistance.

 

I have not received an email - as described - indicating the issue; hence the posting here.

 

I have removed a Billing Method possible to remedy whatever issue may be at hand. But it doesn't look resolved.

Hey guys, so, after some scary days, finally my account has been reactivated.

 

I have to thank all my clients that sent messages helping me and asking for reactivation, and the support team for being active in all steps of this process.

Hey Bojan, I got the same message: 

 

Financial transactions for ------ have been limited.

 

It seems like this is because I have not replied to a dispute with a client, who is, unfortunately, trying to get the work done for free. Anyways, UpWork team has already reviewed and reached to a final decision which was to refund the client a couple of hours because, despite the fact that they have been worked, I have not included any memo... Well, quite unfair... Anyways, I am just looking to move forward, so I ended that contract and started to work with a new client and everything goes well, but suddenly that guy ( from the old contract ) submits another dispute ( how is that even possible after your colleagues have already reviewed it ) and because I have not replied within a couple of days, my account is now on hold... It does not make any sense at all. Would you please be so kind to look over into it as I am getting no response from support?

Unfortunately, the problem is not resolved yet and they do not reply. I have been sending messages since Wednesday, it is now Monday and still no solution nor a response.

I checked and can see that communications are ongoing between you, your client, and our mediation team here. Since you and your client were able to provide your replies to the agent's question over the weekend please allow some time for them to review and they will update you via ticket as soon as possible.

Financial transactions for Imtiaz Ahmed Sumon (32493609) have been limited. Please check your email for additional information or contact customer support.

And I can't actually be useful with that message in the profile, I really don't understand why my financial transactions are limited!!?? Can anyone please help me?

That Current Request Status is showing Solved and it is about another thing, not this one.

Hi! I am having the same problem. How long does it take to solve the problem? I am worried about working with another client and getting nothing. I used to think Upwork is a safe platform but no longer anymore. The Trust and Safety guy is not responsive at all. I paid the service fee for nothing. I have more than 1000 and can't get paid. I am really sad and disappointed.
