Finding the right invoices is a nightmare on Upwork

I did write a post about this a long time ago, but nothing happened. Here I go again 🙂

So anyway, every month I have to hand over all invoices from the previous month to my accountant. But that's easier said than done. For example, if I'm searching for the Agusut invoices, and select the time period 1-30 August, I will find in there invoices from August, as well as July and as well as September. The answer is because the Upwork engine is searching for the DUE DATE instead of the INVOICE DATE. It makes zero sense to search an invoice by thr DUE DATE, an invoice can be issued in Augut and have a due date in September, but in accounting, that invoice will go to the August folder, because it was issued in August. The due date is just the date limit for the payment, nothing more.

I just wanna be able to download all the invoices with a click of a button. Right now I'm guessing an approximate time period, dpwnloading invoices one at a time and checking each and everyone of them to see if they belong to the same month. It's crazy and time consuming, please do something about this. There are other bugs and issues, but I can ignore them, but this is really important.

CONCLUSION: When I look for an invoice based on the date, the ISSUE DATE has to be taken into consideration, not the DUE DATE. It's a nightmare for accounting and it makes no sense at all.
