Hey everyone,

So, far, I've encountered 3 job ads with this same format you can see in these currently active ads:

I have applied on 2 postings already. One of which, I almost got hired, but my rate was unacceptable to them. The interview and testing process seems very real. I'm thinking whoever is instructing these job posters are just pooling for candidates. But I don't get the reason why they have to put up a video and make freelancers think that the one speaking the video will actually be their employer? See this attached file I found in this video **edited for Community Guidelines**  where I confirmed they're only reading a script/template and that almost says that the one speaking is not really the employer.

I wonder if the client in question is the one that sends freelancers invitations requiring freelancers to apply directly on the client's website. There must be some waiver of oDesk requirements that permits that particular top paying client to solicit applications that way.

g'thanks for the info....
